GDPR - Managing your address and purchase information at Tordyvel

On May 25, 2018, a new law - the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) - begins to apply. It is a common law that will make the same rules apply throughout Europe. GDPR replaces the Personal Data Act (PUL), which has been a Swedish law since 1988. With GDPR, all organizations, traders and companies must have a greater responsibility for controlling their customers' data. Read more at the Data Inspectorate .

Tordyvel is responsible for the processing of personal data that you provide to us as a customer and these are processed by Tordyvel in order to manage your purchases, as well as for marketing purposes if you sign up for a newsletter. Tordyvel does not disclose personal information, e-mail addresses or other customer information to third parties other than those mentioned in the third paragraph below.

As an e-retailer, Tordyvel has a duty to ensure that your information is processed as follows:

Store your name, address, email and phone in order to deliver your ordered item.
Store your name, address, email and phone (mobile) and your social security number when purchasing a product.
Provide your address to a third party, in this case the forwarder Postnord and the payment services Paypal and Swish.
You have the right at any time to be deleted from the systems (with certain restrictions that are covered by the Accounting Act).
Store your information when purchasing for 7 years due to the Accounting Act.
You have the right to complain to the supervisory authority.
You have the right to find out where the information came from, if you did not register it yourself.
In newsletters, Tordyvel can send offers that are adapted to your data at Tordyvel and that you then have the right to know what our offers to you are based on stored information.
You have the right to receive an extract of all information Tordyvel has about your account with us.

Cookie management

This website uses cookies, called cookies , to improve the site's services. A cookie is a text file that is stored locally on your computer in order to optimize the functionality of the website. Cookies are normally used to improve the website for the user, for example to be able to customize a website according to the visitor's wishes and choices. A permanent cookie remains on the visitor's computer for a specified period of time. A session cookie is temporarily stored in the computer's memory while a visitor is on a web page. Session cookies disappear when you close your browser.

Tordyvel does not use permanent cookies. Session cookies are used to check if you are logged in or if you have placed an item in the shopping cart, as well as when using the product filtering.

You can also choose to delete cookie files that have been placed with you at any time. If you do not want to allow cookies, you can choose to change your browser settings so that they are not accepted. By accepting cookies on your computer, Tordyvel believes that you give your permission that cookies are used when visiting us. Tordyvel uses Google Analytics as a tool to get an idea of how visitors use the site. The information is used to see how the visitor - the customer - uses Tordyvel's website and various categories and pages. Tordyvel produces visitor statistics, for example reports are used by the visits to the website to improve content, navigation and structure. The information is not stored at Tordyvel. The analytics tool uses cookies and the information generated by them through your use of the site is forwarded to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Tordyvel uses a Google Analytics anonymization feature, where the tool deletes the last digits of the visitor's IP address before storing the data with Google. Google may transfer this information to third parties if required by law or in the event that a third party processes the information on Google's behalf.
